Cannoli - North Beach

We'll be in North Beach on Saturday, and our older son has decided he wants to try cannoli. According to their websites, both Stella Pastry and Victoria Pastry make cannoli - any recommendations for either bakery, or perhaps another in North Beach? Thanks.

Here's what the SFWeekly Best Of had to say. Get them early just after they are stuffed or, if possible, fresh stuffed so the shell doesn't get soggy.

They're about 1.5 blocks away from each other. Why not try both.

I agree, try both! The last time I was in North Beach ('05) I actually did a taste test of every cannoli we could find - research for how we wanted to make them in our store in MT. I do remember that Stella's was one of our favorites, they also make a great cappuccino to enjoy with it!
