Ten Tables: new location or moving?

According to the Zagat website's fall preview, Ten Tables is taking over the old Craigie Street Bistro spot after they move to Central Sq. Will this be a second location or is Ten Tables leaving JP?

Does anyone know when the new location of Ten Tables at the former Craigie Street Bistro space will open?

they were supposed to open a week before christmas... but still have yet to open. on their website, they just state that we should 'look for them soon' in cambridge. I really hope that they follow through and open the second restaurant. JP is a trek from cambridge, especially without a car. does anyone have any updates?

Actually, I looked at their website earlier today and it says that the Cambridge location is open and accepting reservations. Phone number is 617-576-5444.

If the tables are the right shape, they can call it Ten Squared Tables.

Fail. That would be 100 tables, and I'm quite sure the CSB space doesn't have seating for 90.

Oh, yumyum...you and your logic. :))

After all, didn't The Littlest Bar move into a space with a hundred seats?

Let's just settle on Ten More Tables.

I know they won't do it, but they should call the new one "49 Tables." A quirky name for a quirky restaurant in a quirky neighborhood!

I can't wait for this to open. I know it's a weird location for a restaurant, but I love dining spots that are in the middle of residential neighborhoods. Gives them more of a homey feeling...

HB- Just for the record, the space on Craigie Street is a little too small for 49 *tables*!!! Now that would be rather ambitious!

Oops! I meant "49 Seats" (or call it "15 1/2 Tables or something like that). No, 49 tables would indeed put it in Orinoco territory. ;-b

The Craigie Street location actually has 20 tables. They should call it 10 More Tables.

I like "10 More Tables." I hope Krista Kranyak reads the CH board. We have some pretty cool ideas here for her new place!

Wrenhunter came up with that in the very first comment. Have to gve credit where credit is due.

Thanks autopi -- looks like if you want Punch in JP, we'll need to hit it up on a Tuesday. Makes getting into this place even more of a logistical challenge, but so so worth it.
