Vegan-friendly in Richmond

aussiewonder Sep 17, 2008 03:59 PM

Tomorrow the girls and I have a day of Ikea and Aberdeen mall planned. One is vegan and so I was hoping someone could suggest places for lunch that would be 'vegan' friendly' - the rest of us are not vegan. Would prefer to be on the cheap/bargain to reasonable side of the price-scale but are open to flavours and tastes so it doesn't matter if it's Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Western etc...any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIA.

There are a few of vegetarian/Buddhist restaurants there - eg Bo Kong (I've been to the one in Vancouver - it's so so) and Spicy Vegetarian (near Parker Place - I have not been). For something different - you can have a vegetarian buffet lunch at the Buddhist Temple on Steveston Hwy.
