Great Moderately Priced American?

Looking for some recommendations for great, somewhat moderately priced American food. I will be meeting my parents for dinner after they go see Jersey Boys and want a nice place, without really breaking the bank. I'm thinking something nice, somewhat new and American or American Nouveau cuisine.

Just to give you an idea of restaurants I believe to fit this description are joints like Devin Tavern, Blue Ribbon Bakery, Cookshop, Five Points. I have wanted to try these places for quite some time but haven't gotten around to it. Entrees around $25, nothing much more than that and a somewhat nice atmosphere. Also love some interesting sides with a twist and great desserts. GREAT FOOD is what I am really looking for. Thanks fellow chowsters....

I would say Market Table. It's the sister restaurant of Little Owl and a little easier to get a table/reservation. Most of the appetizers are very good: particularly the bacon wrapped scallops, gnocci w/ braised shorts, and the raw tuna. For the entree, the roast chicken hands down. Also, you can get a side of hush puppies with honey butter that are great.
