Portland restaurant recommendations

My girlfriend and I will be in Portland for a couple of days in early October, and I want to take her to a nice restaurant for her birthday. I'm looking to spend $30 to $60 per person, so any recommendations would be really helpful as we've never been to Portland before.

If you're not going to provide more info on your interests, location etc, or scroll the boards to find out a little more about what people have recommended in the past, I'll just say go to Lauro. But you'll need a reservation there. I was shut out of there on a Sunday cuz I didn't have one.

Don't know what kind of food you're looking for, but portland.citysearch.com is an excellent tool to use for finding good restaurants of all different types and how they are rated by the customers. I personally recommend Fratelli in downtown, or Tucci in Lake Oswego for Italian. Mortons downtown for Steak. Jakes Famous Crawfish or Southpark Seafood Grill for Seafood.
