Midtown resturants

Am visitng New York this week/weekend and am looking for great places to eat in relative vicinity of our hotel - the Warwick - in Midtown. Am interested in great food more than great name. Any suggestions? thanks for the help

Molyvos has excellent greek food at 56th & 7th. Trattoria Dell Arte has very good italian food and does my favorite veal parm in the city at 57th & 7th. Quality meats does a great steak in a beautifully designed setting on 58th st near 6th avenue.

I would second Molyvos and Quality Meats, and add the Modern and BLT Market. Estiatorio Milos on 55th between 6th & 7th is good for fish and if you are looking for high end dining I would hearty recommend the dining room at Godon Ramsay in the London Hotel.

There are some great places in that vacinity to get a burger (I work in the building opposite the Warwick and am developing a serious burger addiction..). Burger Joint in the Le Parker Meridien Hotel (you"ll find lots of postings about in here), Five Guys on 55th between 5th and 6th, and Astro Diner on the corner of 55th and 6th has a good bison burger.

Estiatoria is excellent, and if you are able to travel just a little further afield, I'd suggest looking into Alto and Aquavit.
