staying at the St. Francis.. going to Ame..cocktails where?

Hi so the title pretty much says it.. thanks to you all I FINALLY got a reservation at the right time.. and am happy about the choice.. Where shall we go for cocktails first.. somewhere with a view close by? I havent stayed at the St Francis since I was 23 yrs old.. I wont say how long ago that was!!!

you might want to try Starlight room across the street - as you mentioned a view - and it's just across the street and up one block - alternatively, the Mark Hopkins....

There is a very nice, new, modern bar right in the St. Francis, across the lobby from Michael Mina. I forget the name, but you can't miss it. Very nice "vibe."
