Dinner near Willard Hotel in DC?

I'll be arriving in DC around 7:30 p.m. or so Wednesday night and will be staying at the Willard. Any ideas on where to go for dinner? Preference is for seafood. Thanks.

The Willard has a lovely restaurant in house and the bar is fun & historical too (mint julep was introduced there by Henry Clay).
There is a new place on the sidewalk on PA called Cafe du Parc i think? supposed to be good. You are also close to the Oval Room which is quite good.

There are actually two restaurants inside the Willard - the Willard Room, which is very formal, and Cafe du Parc. They're both affiliated with the hotel, but the Cafe is much more approaching and is actually a good deal, too. If they have the cassoulet as a special, get it!

I'll third Ceiba (one of my favorites, Spanish flare), second DC Coast (Southern flare??) and add TenPenh (Asian flare) and Elephant & Castle (more laid back, English fare). First two are choice picks for seafood though.

Bistro D'Oc, Ceiba, and Brasserie Beck are all nearby and delicious!

Ceiba is very close. DC Coast is walkable as is Oceannaire. I was out of town late July through August and missed the closing of Butterfield 9. If you just want to get oysters before dinner elsewhere -- try Old Ebbit.
