Wedding at Roof Lounge Park Hyatt
Hi - my partner and I are considering having our wedding at the Roof Lounge in the Park Hyatt. Has anyone been to a wedding there before? Was the food decent? We are also considering C5 or the Gardiner. Thoughts on any of these, or other suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks!

C5 would be my pick of these three for sure. I've always enjoyed the food and found the service to be top notch.
If you want the rooftop views- just a suggestion: My cousin got married at Canoe- I think it was a Saturday and the restaurant was closed, so we had the place to ourselves. It was a few years ago, but if you want rooftop views, it's a good place to go and the food and service is excellent.

the bar at top of the park plaza (hyatt) is second to none..if you can book the bar, do it..(depending on how many people you are planning on inviting) the atmosphere is great and the staff are and have always been..well above the average...your guests will remember your wedding.

I'll issue a third recco for Canoe.
Our wedding reception was this past June and I can vouch that the view was spectacular there.
The event coordinator was great and she helped us throughout and even thought of a few things that we had forgotten. Dinner service was also great - admittedly, I didn't eat too much that night due to the adrenaline pumping through me. However, our friends raved about the quality of the food and some took a tour of the kitchen. I also found the pricing at Canoe more than comparable to a lot of venues - the only thing that would cause the costs to get out of control would be the bar service since it's on consumption.
They are closed to the general public on Saturday and Sundays, so you'll have the entire restaurant to yourselves; they even have a small dance floor that can be used after dinner.

I think that would be a beautiful venue. The food is ok, it's nice hotel food, not the best food that you're going to have but certainly ok.
C5 would be a beautiful venue in the evening, I've eaten there a few times and the food was great.
As for the gardiner I have not yet been.
I think any of these venues would be spectacular. You should go do a site inspection and tastings.
Good luck!
