    Very true, just pronounced very differently. Kinda like budd-utsk

    What they fail to mention is what "peach" means in Hungarian.

      Does it mean stone fruit? We noticed that a variety of different stone fruit have another work or prefix before the barack.

        no, barack means peach. Peach (spelled differently but pronounced like peach) is another derogitory term, also beginning with the letter p. Use your imagination from there.

          no, actually, öszi barack means peach, while sarga barack means apricot (and is the barack in barack palinka, the most famous hungarian eau de vie): the former means something like honest peach, while the latter means yellow peach, but asking for barack in mid-summer will only get you a request for clarification at the Market Hall
