Pierogi shopping help, please!

I really like the frozen Alexandra's pierogi sold at Alpine Village in Torrance. Unfortunately, I live in the 818 and I haven't found Alexandra's in the Valley (tried the german deli on Roscoe, the russian deli on Laurel Canyon and Riverside, and Jon's, no luck). Anybody know where else Alexandra's is sold that may be closer to North Hollywood?

Or as an alternative, anyone have some alternate frozen pierogi recommendations?

first of all, i am attaching a link to a thread that had this conversation a while back. the place that i mentioned at that time, but couldn't remember the name is: "Bazaar" market on reseda blvd., a couple of block north of the 101. (i am attaching a link.)

also excellent, but in hollywood, is traktir restaurant. we just had them cater a "memorial meal" for my "almost-made-it-to-90" year old russian/ukrainian mom. these were some of her favorite and the group was mostly russian and lebanese, so they are used to this stuff. we had a lot, and not a single one survived. have also posted link for that.

I'm from Pittsburgh and I miss them too, If you want frozen pierogis, Trader Joe's sells them. The are better than Mrs T's

I know it's not the valley.... but I think they have them at the Jons on La Brea near Sunset.

You might call the other Jons in the valley and ask.
