AYCE Sushi Las Vegas
Will be travelling back to Las Vegas in 1 month, so I am starting to plan my meals. For one of the meals I have enjoyed doing all you can eat sushi in Las Vegas. In particular I enjoy restaurants where the sushi is made to order off a menu but it still AYCE. Koto was my favorite and gold standard in Vegas, but of course it is closed.
Last trip (Oct 2007) I went to Sushi Hana and ate there - I thought it was very good - they had a soft shell crab appetizer that was part of the AYCE menu which was amazing. Don't know if it is still open or not. I have not tried Sushi Mon but know they also do AYCE. Have been to Makino and Todai and thought they were just average so no need to return there.
Any recommendations for AYCE sushi this trip? I liked Sushi Hana and would happily go back there, or give Sushi Mon a try. Just wondering if anyone has any updates, suggestions, or new options.
Although I haven't been yet....my sushi eating friends (with reliable opinions) absolutely love Oyshi for AYCE. It's off the menu and made to order. The AYCE lunch is $21 & dinner is $26. It's located in the Southwest part of LV...near Rainbow & Robindale. They say the atmosphere is sleek, new & clean and the variety of dishes is great. My friends that dine there are big sushi fans but suprisingly often rave about some of the cooked appetizers (surf & turf, and asparagus wrapped in grilled beef).
Check this link for the menu....looks great. http://www.usmenuguide.com/oyshi.html

That looks like a fantastic suggestion. It's a little hard to tell what is included in the AYCE menu, but either way, the restaurant looks modern and the sushi choices look extensive. I will be going in 3 weeks or so, and I will definately find a way to give this place a try. Tell your friends THANKS!
