Foodie heads north to Door County, Wis.

After many years, I'm returning to see some colorful (hopefully) fall folliage this fall in Door County, Wisconsin. We're staying somewhere around Sister Bay, I think. I know the Inn at Kristoffer's and the Whistling Swan were two of my favorite spots, but I haven't been to DC in years. Any new recommendations??? Also, my favorite Root Beer is at Wilson's. Yummy! Anyone have an update on Door County foods I shouldn't miss???

  1. Yeah, it's tough to beat Wilson's for ice cream. Al Johnson's in Sister Bay is also a good spot for breakfast (Swedish pancakes, meatballs, etc.) If you search the forums for "Door County" you'll find a number of threads with some good suggestions in them.
