Breakfast near Pentagon / Italian

I am in town for the weekend, and looking for a great breakfast place for coffee, etc. But very casual and relaxed. Also looking for a great Italian restaurant for dinner tomorrow night. Again, not to pricey and not a chain...just real good food. Preferably near White House, DuPont Cir, or Georgetown.

Near Pentagon - if you can take an old-school diner, try the fabulous Bob & Edith's, two locations on Columbia Pike.
Two locations: 2310 Columbia Pike or 4707 Columbia Pike (just Mapquest it). Locals love it!
