Eurostar suspended - need place for fabulous vegetarian dinner in London

I solicited all of your advice for a quick trip to paris. Now that the eurotunnel is on fire, my train has been canceled and I'm going to London instead. What I need is a recommendation for an amazing cheer me up dinner. Any cuisine or restaurant type is fine. Price is not a concern. Only requirement is that I be able to get a vegetarian meal( eggs cheese dairy are fine) that is so good I'm almost happy the train was canceled. If there are nearby hotels that could help me make reservations, that would be helpful ( I need a place to stay too, having just canceled my Paris hotel).

Thanks!!

    1. I don't consider the food at Automat fabulous, but they do a large macaroni and cheese (with or without bacon). Mildred's in Soho does vegetarian meals, although the ambiance is lacking. Take a look at the menu at the Wolseley. They have lots of eggs and cheese things for lunch and/or dinner and many great starters, too. I think you'd love it there.

        1. Have you checked www.happycow.net for veg-friendly places in London?
