Bi-Rite
Has anyone ever been to the Bi-Rite supermarket on Belair Road at White Avenue? I went because I got a coupon for 10-dollars free when I moved recently. I have been there several times and the best thing about the place are the prices. I have consistantly bought shrimp from Vietnam for 9-99 a pound that were delicious. Yesterday I bought shrimp from Thailand for 5-66 a pound and they were just as large and yummy. Here's the strange part. I wasn't in the mood to cook last night but needed comfort food. They have a hot bar for five and change a pound. I got salisbury steak and mac and cheese (made with shells). The steak was so delicious I am going to try and get their recipe today! It was moist burger, with lots of green pepper and tomato sauce....and it was the best version of it I have ever had. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy.
