Just bought some black tip shark steaks. I was thinking of searing in a very hot pan. I may brush with some mashed garlic and sea salt and crushed black pepper. I've never cooked this before. How long to cook? Any ideas?
Trying brushing with mayonnaise an hour before cooking. Then sea salt and fresh cracked pepper.
10 min per inch is a general rule. Shark is like swordfish. It's dense and meaty.
