Girls group dinner in W. Village

I'm in need of suggestions for a dinner in W. Village for 5 women that will please many different personalities. Some are coming in from out of town, so I want something especially delicious and fun, but nothing too corporate or loud. Was thinking about Blue Ribbon (bakery), but am generally feeling a little uninspired for some reason, so I'm turning to you, the pros, to spark my creativity. Need good food, good drinks, good atmosphere, $30-50pp.

For The Little Owl -- definitely call ASAP. I think they have a single round 5-top table in the entire restaurant.

Grano Trattoria is good, unlike many Italian places their portions aren't too large which is nice (whatever amount of pasta is put in front of me, I will finish!) . Po is nice, although I don't know if they have a table big enough for six. Perilla is always good for a ladies night out. Little Owl also nice, but getting a reservation might be next to impossible.

          Alta would be my pick.

I love Little Owl but I also love Alta and think it might suit this situation perfectly, as there is something for everybody. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I love Alta but every time I've gone it has been very loud.

              Sometimes loud means fun

              I'd suggest Paris Commune.

Little owl is way too small... although i love it.
Extra Virgin, St. Ambrous, alta, cafe cluny.
