Edward Levesque's Kitchen

this place never seems to get mentioned on this board. I've often wondered about it. Worth going? I looked at the menu online and it didn't drive me to make a reservation.

There are many mentions of Levesque's, so try a search. He is capable of cooking well, but does so inconsistently. He can also be a miserable SOB to his staff and to his customers. I was an early customer, and a regular for several years, but he went too far once too often and I have never been motivated to go back.

In short, sometimes very good food, but not worth the prices charged, the rules, or the attitude.

Gotcha...thanks. Looks like a pass to me. The menu didn't draw me and the potential for attitude and bad service don't either.

I too can say the is hit or miss and I just cannot support someone who can be so rude to his guests and his staff. I can say that I have witnessed this firsthand as a former employee at the beginning,

Ditto. Went a few times, very poor service, and the food was just okay. Actually, no, it was pretty crappy. From what I can tell, he's not getting nowhere near the line ups he used to for Sunday brunch.
