Tea & Popovers on L.I. or in NJ

While vacationing in Bar Harbor, Maine, we had the most amazing popovers & tea lunch at Jonathans in Acadia National Park. We would love to recreate that closer to home, but do not know of any places like that. Any ideas from the masses? Thanks!

Isn't Jordan Pond House in Acadia?? Nevertheless, I agree - they are fantastic. Not sure about burbs, but there's the Popover cafe right here on the Upper West Side - 87th/Amsterdam
