We are making our first trip to Cape Cod this weekend after 2 years in the Boston area. Does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants with sidewalk or dockside seating that would be dog friendly? We will be staying on the outer cape, just below Provincetown. Seafood would be a great option. Thanks!

Adrian's restaurant on Rte 6 near the NoTtruru /Ptown line is attached to a pet friendly resort/motel. They do a good breakfast- you might take Fido there for brunch and ask them for suggestions.

Go to Provincetown! Acceptance of a dog as a family member by shops and restaurants is one of the reasons we vacation there.

Naturally, I'm not going to name names for the dog haters and health dept. spys. Just look around or ask other families with dogs once you hit town. They'll tell you which patios will seat the entire family.

Perfect timing mmmmpizza- I'm off to the Cape with my 2 pooches on Tues for 8, count 'em 8, glorious days. I haven't had trouble finding dog-friendly patio dining in P-town(I've even had people come out of bars/restaurants to ask if my dogs wanted water... P-town is a dog- loving town!), but I'm open to suggestions for anywhere from Chatham-P-town (staying in Eastham). Have a great time!
