Ghirardeli Square restaurants?

I haven't been to Ghirardeli Square in many, many years and will give it a try later this month. Want to see the new Fairmont property there and other less touristy improvements that have received some recent press.

Any recommendations for a dinner place in or near the Square? I failed in my attempt at a spot at Gary Danko's and I don't believe his new bistro is yet open. Never been to Ana Mandara or the new Bar Marche.

Chowhound thoughts and recommendations are most welcome.

Within the context of the Square and Wharf in general, Ana Mondara is very good -- aprt from Danko, the best there is, imo.

It cannot be said to compete favorably with all SF restaurants in its price range, however.
