On the Turquoise Trail, The Mine Shaft Tavern in Madrid [pronounced MAD rid, not MA drid, like in Spain] is a funky place to eat. Elk burgers are really good, especially with green chile and cheese. There isn't much of any other place along that route worth stopping.
I would take the Bernalillo exit and head west on 550. Make a left on 313 [Camino del Pueblo] and try any of these:
My favorite:
Abuelita's {"Grandmothers"} 621 Camino del Pueblo
