Halvah galore

My husband, Matt, recently returned from a work-related trip to Israel. The hotel where he stayed had a breakfast buffet every morning, including halvah (as pictured).

I love it, in all the flavours, but it's dreadful for the teeth!

Next time he's there, send him to the Machane Yehudah market. One of the vendors there has a halvah selection broad enough to make your head spin. I've never seen so many different varieties. Although I tried my best to sample as many as I could.
