Mini Key Lime Pies - Philadelphia

emilym711 Sep 9, 2008 01:38 PM

I am getting married in the spring and would like to serve mini key lime pies to each of the guests ... does anyone know of a bakery where I can find these around Philadelphia? I know MANNA makes full size pies, but I really want the minis! Thanks!

Wildflour bakery, these guys do mostly wholesale, but they are very good, family owned good pedigree (orginal pastry chef at Striped Bass)....they aren't cheap...prolly about 2.25 each, but maybe theyd cut you a break if you were getting a ton of them. they are on the web, but their number is 215 624 3300...ask for Laura......

MyHouse Cookies makes mini-key lime pies and sells them at Wolff's Applehouse in Lima and Willow Creek Orchard in Collegeville. They're good.

Desserts by Design in Audobon, NJ does great mini key lime tarts. It's about 5 minutes from the WW bridge in Audobon. Very good upscale bakery; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'd try Darling's Cheesecake Cafe, which makes a great full size key lime pie, and does special orders including wedding cakes. Thank you.

Tartes at 212 Arch Street ((215) 625-2510) makes an amazing Key Lime mini tart. Everything they do is wonderful!
