Burbank/Glendale place to chat NO SPORTS!

annalulu Sep 9, 2008 12:07 PM

two chicks, lots to talk about, not lots of money to spend.

Want more than coffee, but don't need food. (But coffee would be okay if the vibe is nice.)

Wine bar with sofas would be so great, but where? Was thinking that Lucy's 51 place in Toluca Lake, but last time I was there, some game was on and the yelling was horrific.

This would be for tonight, maybe there isn't a game scheduled anyway?

I hear 818 is pricey, we don't want to spend more than $5-$7 for a drink. We aren't looking to sip fine wines, hell, wine from a box would be okay! (BLASPHEMER!)

We can't hang out in our respective homes because I'm in box hell after a move and she lives with her parents.

Region is Glendale/Burbank/Toluca Lake. This is for tonight, a Tuesday after 7PM, so we are just missing all the happy hours.

HELP!

Palate Wine Bar. No couches, but no sports and good wine. Eat in the winey part.

IF you could hang on till tomorrow, Vendome Liquor in Toluca lake is having $1 pours at their very lovely wine bar. No food, unless oyu want cheese.

How's market in No Ho has a nice wine bar in the wine area up front. You wouldn't know yo're in a market. call and see what's on offering.

I love Palate, but it's wayyyy too pricey for this meeting.

Will check out Vendome, have driven by so many times, thanks!

Not sure what the pricing is like but the Castaway patio may suit your needs.
