Looking for a good lunch spot in one of these 2 neighborhoods. Ambiance not important - just good food! If you do not know of a sushi or thai spot in these hoods but can recommend a great ethnic food spot, that would be great too

My two favorites in Soho for sushi/sashimi (though tomoe is techinically in the village, it's right next to soho's border near houston).

Lantern Thai, on the corner of 2nd Av. & 18th St., has delicious Thai food, good service, and very attractive atmospherics.
