Squaw bread recipe?

Does anyone have a good, traditional squaw bread recipe?

    Anadama bread? Cornmeal, flour and molasses is that the same?
    Got a great one if it is.

      Old thread, but Chef Chicklet, can you please post your Anadama Bread recipe?

      Am trying to recreate a whole wheat & rye flour-molasses-raisin-cornmeal-brown sugar bread aka squaw or maybe anadama bread.

      Check out this one and see if it might be what you are looking for.

      When we used to have a Chart House in our area my husband loved their bread. I may have a recipe somewhere that someone got for me, I just have to find it, which may take days.

      I remember it being very dark and slightly sweet which is maybe the molasses?

      I did a google and there are a ton of recipes out there.

      Did you have it at a Chart House?
