Cape dining

Thanks to all who responded to my query about good places in the Truro area. As it turned out, we ate out only once, with a friend who lives on the Cape and took us to Lorraine's in Provincetown. Had the carnitas burrito, which comes with both chile verde and mole sauces. I thought the mole had a bit too much cinnamon, but the dish was otherwise ok. For me, the highlight of the meal was the clam appetizer, served with plenty of bread to sop up the delicious broth.

We couldn't get enough of the fresh fish at Mac's Seafood Market in Truro Center--had lobster one night, bluefin tuna another, huge scallops and striped bass just last night. If anyone is staying in a house with a well equipped kitchen--and a grill--Mac's should be your first stop!
