Does anyone know the name of the the new pub/restaurant that opened up on Foe's old site? How is the food?

It's called the "Crooked Shileleighly" (sp) Haven't eaten there yet, but it looks too nice a place to bear that name.

I've been there. It's small (cozy) but nice. I didn't go into the bar area. They have a TV there which I didn't even notice til we were leaving. We sat at the tall tables by the front window. It was Happy Hour when we were there - they had the prerequisite wings which were ok. The fried poppers were really good. We had a nice bottle of red wine - wish I could remember the name. I had fish and chips - I didn't like it much - chips were bland, fish was cold in the middle and had to be sent back. I don't think the fish was fresh - probably frozen. My daughter had bangers and mash - it was really good. Service was attentive and friendly. Next time I might get the smoked salmon appetizer or the Guiness beef stew. Oh, I was comped a dessert because of the cold fish. Since they're new maybe they are working out the kinks. I'll definitely go back.
