Looking for a real taco and a margarita in the valley

Last weekend I was dying for the ultimate Mexican combo, a real taco and a nice refreshing margarita. I could not think of a place that serves both! I know of a lot of places that serve margaritas but most of them offer American versions of tacos, you know the kind with lettuce, tomatoes and all of those other things that just don't belong in a taco. I was looking for a traditional Mexican taco-- small tortilla, cilantro and onions but all of the places that I could think getting that taco don't serve margaritas. Any suggestions in Studio City/Sherman Oaks area?

You could try Ernies, on....well, around Vineland and Moorepark. Don't know what their tacos are like, but they have good margs, and I really like their enchiladas. Also, they don't mind subsitutions, so if the taco isn't just what you want, you could probably make it what you want.

This is a tough one. I'm not too impressed with any of the Mexican restaurants in the Studio City/Sherman Oaks area that serve both tacos and margaritas. My current favorite place for tacos in the Valley is Pico Pica Rico - but no margaritas. My favorite for margaritas in the Valley is Casa Vega, but I don't think they have the kind of tacos you're looking for. See what I mean? I, too, would be interested to know where to get both. Meanwhile, to satisfy the urge, I've been going to Sol Y Luna - 19601 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana. Sorry that it's not in Studio City or Sherman Oaks.
