Has anyone got any suggestions for Vegetarian Food suggestions/options in restaurants close to Getty Villa?

Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure if this fits your desires, but the Getty Villa has a delightful patio and the food is quite delicious. I'm sure that you can find a vegetarian salad and soup that would be wonderful for lunch or dinner.

Yeah, that's about the best I can think of, too.

Your other options would be to pick one of the several restaurants nearby and try to find something vegetarian on the menu. I doubt you'll be impressed.

Or you could eat in Santa Monica. But that's a good 10+ minutes away in the car.

most restaurant soups are made with a base made out of meat, poultry, or seafood stock--therefore the soups are not vegetarian.
are you sure that the getty villa offers a vegetarian soup?

westsidegal -- You make a good point! No, I am not at all sure about their soups being vegetarian. I was merely (thoughtlessly) tossing out the idea of being able to find some vegetarian items on the Getty Villa menu.

Last year about this time we had a wonderfully memorable lunch on the Getty patio...so pleasant. If the museum is part of the agenda, then it makes sense to me to stay there and have lunch or dinner.

if you wanted to head out a little to malibu, inn of the seventh ray has good veggie options.

il carpaccio in the palisades also offers veggie friendly dishes.

il carpaccio will work for dinner but they are not open for lunch (they open at 5 PM I think) if that's what the OP is looking for. Don't know about lunch at Inn of the 7th Ray?
