Hi eddy. How far will you travel to pick one up and can you narrow down what kind of cake you want? I have a list of tried and true spots I buy from.

Celestin on Mount Pleasant never disappoints.

Nakamura in J-Town (Steeles) has amazing cakes as well.

My family has been partial to Cafe Maxim's Patisserie the last year or so. A lighter cake in body and sweetness than some of the full on trad Western cakes. On Finch in the valley/dip between Leslie and Bayview.

We always enjoy the chestnut cake (they use chestnut puree in the filling between layers).
