        <content>I have a new found passion for soups and sauces and need suggestions on a cookbook with amazing soups and classic french sauces. I'd also like to get into french tachniques and the mother sauces.Thanks for you help hounds.</content>

      <content>I highly recommend the New England Soup Factory cookbook.  It has some great soups.  So far every soup i've made has been a hit!</content>

      <content>I am sure there are a lot of soup books out there but I would like to take the other request.
I recommend  The Sauciers Apprentice by Raymond Sokolof. He is one of my favorite food writers. You may have to look for the book as mine is quite old, but Amazon or A Libris should be able to find it.</content>
