Do any of you know of a nice place to go for breakfast in the Ft Salonga-Centerport-Northport area? I was recommended to try Toast & Co in Huntington, which I will follow up on. Need a few more ideas. Thanks!!

The Golden Dolphin Diner on Main Street in Huntington is nearby and should serve your needs.

How about Sweet Mama's in Northport at the intersection of 25A and Laurel Rd.? Or In Huntington Village on Main St (25A), the venerable Munday's.

There is a great lack of breakfast places in this area. The closest good breakfast place is Maureens in Smithtown.

You might want to try Tim's Shipwreck Diner in Northport. It's got lots of atmosphere (a real old time railroad car diner) and very good food, although it's not quite at Maureen's level. Then again, who else is?
