Does anyone have suggestions for a great Harlem restaurant that's a walk away from Marcus Garvey Park, where the African drummers play? For this Saturday night.
africa kine on 116th, west of 7th, is within walking distance. it's nothing fancy, just well made, home-style senegalese food served in portions large enough to feed a small family.
Amy Ruth's: 116th bet. Lenox and Adam Clayton PowellPiatto d'Oro: 5th bet. 116th and 117thZoma: Frederick Douglass Blvd. and 113th
Sisters is virtually across from the park and has decent W. Indian food. For ambiance I like MoBay but it is tight and crowded.
