Food souvenirs from Alaska

I'm about to go on a trip to Alaska and was wondering what are good food-type souvenirs to bring back for family and friends?

What part of Alaska are you going to? There's smoked salmon, chocolates, coffee, jams, berry products, etc, etc.

In Anchorage, get Alaska Berry Chocolates - I'd recommend some of these but then chocolate is high on sweetie's list so I wouldn't miss it. Try Kaladi brothers coffee since you won't be in Southeast where you can get our very own Heritage or Raven's Brew. You'll find local jellies, jams and syrups in many places. If you are in Anchorage on a Saturday - do the Saturday market downtown as you're sure to find some good things there. Smoked salmon should be available just about anywhere but I'd check in Seward for it but Anchorage for sure. Healy and Denali???? Nada - you might find something in Glitter Gulch but its sure to be imported from Anchorage.

        Enjoy!!

      'Cooking Alaskan by Alaskans' book

Berry products (may or may not be locally produced)
      Raindeer sausage (i.e. domesticated game)
      Seal oil products
Most of the souvenirs that I brought back were books.

Lightweight, packable and available wherever tourists roam. They make a variety of items, but I'm partial to the teas.
