I'm planning a cocktail and fingerfood party. Any ideas about why I can get nice canapes/hors d'oeuvres made? I don't want full-on catering, I'd just like to pick up a few trays of interesting, tasty fingerfood.

Portos Bakery in Glendale has some great finger food items/appetizers. Most of the items you can order for under $20 per 50. Check out the link...

If you are in Orange County, there are a few places.

Picnics Deli in Costa Mesa (canapes, stuffed cherry tomatoes, mini latkes with chicken salad and other - not your regular picnic stuff)

Plums in Costa Mesa - may be more catered dishes and salads than finger food, but some.

Turnip Rose in Costa Mesa - more often used for corporate and events, but could certainly do a home party with some dishes.
