FYI - lead on food (real zhengzong real) from Xinjiang.

I was driving home from a quick dimsum snack lunch at 888 seafood when I see a BIG SIGN in chinese, real authentic (zhengzong xinjiang cai) food from Xinjiang.

I haven't eaten there - they say on the sign that it's real xinjiang lamb skewers and bbq.

info
818 E Valley Blvd
San Gabriel, CA 91778
(626) 307-5128

Name is tricky - I see
818 Shaokao

JN Kitchen

Sign also says they have Tianjin specialites.

which gives one pause - unless I misread.

we happened by the place too on our way back from 101 noodle express couple of weeks ago. Though full, stopped anyway out of sheer curiosity and had lamb chop-skewers, grilled octopus and pork-chive dumplings which we had to doggy bag. the place is definitely worth a visit.

Yes. Tried the lamb skewer, a fish skewer (kind of like a large sardine), and some kind of cake that I can't specifically recall. All were quite good.
