southern new england spice company

Has anyone else been to this storefront on Rt. 47, about a mile or two south of Hadley?

Their small retail space has a wall of interesting dried spices and herbs in 8ox plastic jars. Nothing is extremely high quality and the prices are very fair. The dried anchos were particularly beautiful. They sell smoked paprika.

Other recommendations?

I also mail order from Penzeys and, when I'm in the area, go to the store in Mass. I LOVE their herbs/spices! Have been using them for years!

I just looked at that website, do they really have a 1 lb minimum on spices? That seems like an awful lot.

I prefer Penzie's online but isn't Hadley in Western MA? There is also Atlantic Spice in Truro but I have not been there either.

We talked about going there but maybe that was before y'all arrived. But I don't think I'd make the drive just for spices.
