Chat friendly coffee house in Los Feliz/Hollywood?

I'm supposed to get together next weekend, ostensibly to talk shop with this girl, but honestly I'm trying to win her over.

So I need a nice, not too loud coffee house with a pleasant atmosphere. A place conducive to getting to know someone, in the general Los Feliz/Hollywood area.

Reasonable price and tasty eats are a plus, of course.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the great recs! I've not heard of most of these places, but I used to go to the Bourgeouis Pig a lot. I remember it being a little loud at times, but I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Intelligentsia Coffee on Sunset where Santa Monica Blvd. intersects in the Sunset Junction area of Silver Lake. Best coffee, plenty of seating on the outdoor patio, weather permitting of course!

I love Bourgeois (sp?) Pig on Franklin near the Mayfair. Love that strip of cafes & such right there, and there's a great news agent next door. Inside, good drinks, couches & comfy chairs.

Alcove on Hillhurst in Los Feliz would be my top pick. Outside can be nice, but if you can sit inside and get the "chess board" table, the drawers are FILLED with strange little notes that people leave. It's a great conversation starter for those early dates.

Granted it's been a year or two since I sat at that table, but I don't see why they would change it.

Sabor y Cultura, on Hollywood between Western and Wilton. Big and open (not open-air), generally a few people staring into laptops pretending to be writers. Good coffee &c.; some food (sandwiches and such) which I've never had, but looks OK..
