So, all you of have had 2 weeks on me to scope out the best at the market this season. Just got back from North Carolina, where I fell in love with peaches all over again. OMG -so that's what Kramer was talking about!! But I digress.
I am now in serious need of my yearly corn fix and of course locally grown field tomatoes, heirlooms or not. I need those tomatoes of summer. I need that corn. I need my fix. I'm a corn and tomato junkie....
Anything else I should be aware of?

We are near the end of chocolate covered blueberries at Hamel, get some soon.
Royal figs at Chez Nino are like candy. Get them, a whole palette.
There are green zebra tomatoes at the organic stand near Atkins' fish, and near Premiere Moisson they have other heirloom tomatoes. But I found last weeks selection of heirlooms occassionally underwhelming.
Great eggplant everywhere, and nice poblanos.
Bought a really great large Quebec cantalope, very sweet, very perfumed.
Have fun!
