Start New ThreadWhat is your favorite classically proportioned one? Had the 8oz Burger (old Table 8) Classic Burger last night. Really looked the part, but the flavor was not there, even with a dunk in some of their sauces. I'd give it a 5 out of 10.
As far as the old places, I like the Fred 62 Wimpy Burger (7 out of 10) and In N Out (7). Not a huge fan of Irvs. Any discoveries?

For a newish place I like O! Burger in WEHO. I tried the combo with burger rare, small salad instead of fries and one of the two iced teas.

Try Jack's Classic Hamburgers on Riverside in Toluca Lake/N. Hollywood. Great classic burgers!

This is a good burger. With the combo they tend to be "generous" with fries, like twice In n Out's allotment, in my experience at least.

26 Beach is OG, been doing Classic burgers on homemade buns for 25+ years, they also have their share of gourmet type burgers. I just had a cheese burger there yesterday, after my fiasco at The Counter I needed a good burger. You might also want to try Cassell's on 6th just west of Vermont Avenue. Yanakis in El Monte is a great burger shack, also in that area is Art's, very similar to In & Out but they make chili which reminds me of the chili from Jay's Jay Burgers (GFC) Great F_innn Chili!
