Cool atmosphere, outdoor seating, and vegetarian options for an anniversary dinner

I'm looking for a restaurant with a downtown-cool atmosphere, a vegetarian menu, and preferably a garden or at least outdoor seating that's nice enough for my wedding anniversary dinner next Wednesday and not too expensive. Any thoughts?

  1. Pretty casual, but eclectic, I really liked the cozy back garden at Cafe Asean. And I went with two veggies and two non.

I hadn't thought of Cafe Asean but they are great and it's very romantic in the back garden. Good suggestion!

    2. Trestle on Tenth has a beautiful enclosed backyard garden--though service can be spotty, food is exceptional.

We haven't been to Trestle on Tenth, but after looking at the menu, I don't think it's a particularly good option for a vegetarian.

      2. A vegetarian restaurant with a really nice garden: Pure Food and Wine.

Not just vegetarian but raw food/vegan. We went to Pure Food once and, in my view as a carnivore, the lasagna was sensational. We didn't like anything else we had, including desserts. I agree that the garden is lovely.
