Anyone know when Chipotle is scheduled to open?

There is a sign in the window today that says: "Grand Opening September 12"

Not sure when opening night is, but on Thursday September 11th they are open for a fundraiser party for Framingham High School foundation. Five dollars gets you a burrito, chips, salsa, and soda, with 100% of your money going to benefit the public high school foundation.

I thought I saw a sign for a Chipotle going in, in Westborough, on route 9 near Lyman St (the little strip mall that used to have Blockbuster and Gold's Gym, and now has a Fedex/Kinko's). Are we getting TWO of these out in the western burbs?

and one of them a very short distance from Canyon Cafe!

It is in Shoppers World where Cambridge Soundworks was, and later IMO. Having opened many retail stores, I can see enough to know that if infrastructure was the only issue they could open in a day or two without a problem, but I am sure there are training and probably hiring issues still. I would imaging a couple of weeks at most. I'm not a big fan, but there really isn't a place to get a decent cheap burrito out here--and no, Boloco doesn't count--bleccch.

If, like myself, you despise cilantro then there is very little that Chipotle can serve you. Every little thing there is loaded with the hateful weed. If you ask for no cilantro it really flusters them. Even Anna's has fewer cilantro laden choices than Chipotle!! By the way, I've been told that if you think cilantro tastes like soap it's genetic.

Hopefully they put some effort into offering better food than the Davis Sq. and Medford locations that have somewhat recently sprung up. I thought the Davis Sq. location would give Anna's a run for its money, but the quality is nothing like the locations I've been to in Colorado previously.

Great...we're in desperate need of yet another mediocre themed chain restaurant on Route 9 in Framingham.

yeah, I was wondering why the excitement, especially when Big Fresh is right there next to Shoppers World. Love their felafel especially!

Looks like it's at Shoppers World, Framingham....plus, they're looking for a Service Manager:

Edit: Actually, I see there are quite a few jobs for the taking....

By what I saw driving by today I'd say they probably have about 2 weeks to go on the rebuild.
