Has anyone been here? I know Laban wasn't thrilled with it but someone at work gave it a rave review. Thinking of trying it but would like opinions from the hounds.
I've been there a couple times and really liked it, but I haven't been in months. I especially liked the fennel-mushroom salad and the bone-in pork loin. I remember the desserts being pretty good, too.
We went early on, before the LaBan review. The service was fine, we ate outside, it was pretty dark inside. I only remember the frogs leg appetizer and that was quite good. Although I wouldn't give it 3 bells, I didn't think it deserved 1. I know we commented that we'd go back again.
If you go, let us know.
My bookclub stopped by for dessert after hitting another NL place. We sat outside with coffee (French press, mmmmm), creme brulee and another dessert I cannot remember the name of I think it might have been the Bonaparte. They were wonderful and the service was excellent. As much as I enjoy reading him, I don't put all my faith in CL all the time. Swallow is on my list of places to go to have a full dinner anyway.
