Washington DC, the Current Best Restaurants

Going to be in DC Sunday for dinner; I haven't been in DC in a few years. Any suggestions?

A lot of these places are not open for dinner on Sunday nights...

I would add Blue Duck Tavern to the list - I was there on a Sunday night and had an excellent meal. Highlights were the pork belly and braised beef shortribs.

Also, another restaurant which I don't think would quite make the "best" list, but I consider very very good, is PS7s. Delicious food and creative drinks too.

Several of these are extremely difficult reservations. I would add Cafe Atlantico to the list along with Kinkead's, Black Salt, Obelisk and several others. At the last minute you may want to consider Beck's and whatever else is open on Sunday.

If you're willing to venture out to Alexandria, I would also add Restaurant Eve.
