Group dinner in DC?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a good place to have dinner for my boyfriend's 26th birthday. There will probably be around 10-15 of us, all mid-late 20s. Looking for a place that's pretty young and with good food and booze, but not super expensive. Ideally around Dupont, U Street, or Adams Morgan so that we could go out to the bars afterwards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Mama Ayesha's on Calvert (just north of the 18th St. strip) is great for groups....

What do you think about Chi Cha Lounge on U Street? They have less formal seating options for a larger group, so mingling among 10 to 15 people will be easier. Then you can all order small plates of the Mexican/Central American/South American foods. The bar is pretty good, too.

Are you looking for a room or a big table? Tabaq might be able to give you part of the roof if you ask nicely.
