Group dinner in DC?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a good place to have dinner for my boyfriend's 26th birthday. There will probably be around 10-15 of us, all mid-late 20s. Looking for a place that's pretty young and with good food and booze, but not super expensive. Ideally around Dupont, U Street, or Adams Morgan so that we could go out to the bars afterwards. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Mark and Orlando's in Dupont.

    1. Are you looking for a room or a big table? Tabaq might be able to give you part of the roof if you ask nicely.

      1. What do you think about Chi Cha Lounge on U Street? They have less formal seating options for a larger group, so mingling among 10 to 15 people will be easier. Then you can all order small plates of the Mexican/Central American/South American foods. The bar is pretty good, too.

        1. Mama Ayesha's on Calvert (just north of the 18th St. strip) is great for groups....
