Restaurant or Bar in Arboretum area to watch sports

I will appreciate recommendations on some place in the Arboretum area to watch a sporting event while enjoying delicious appetizers or light meals with drinks.

Heck, if you're looking for a Sports Bar near the Arboretum you could do a lot worse than Pluckers at 183 and Burnet Rd (SW Corner). I'm sure most people monitoring this board know Pluckers - they certainly know how to prepare a wide variety of wings and the beer selection is above average. I'm not sure if they are still offering this drink special, but they used to sell a 32oz draft beer for something like $2 whenever any Texas based team was playing on TV. Tasty!!
There are couple of other places in the same vicinity that might interest you, Bagpipes (same shopping center as Pluckers) and Sherlock Holmes (SE corner of 183 & Burnet). I've been in Bagpipes once and it's basically a Hooters, Tilted Kilt, Bone Daddy's type of place - personally, I find all of them disgusting.

this place isnt near the arboretum but they just opened a thrid base sports bar in round rock off louis henna with direct tv sunday ticket package and pluckers also has the games too.

It would only be an extra ten minutes to drive to the downtown location. I always forget about that place but what a good idea for us! Thanks!

Dave & BUster's has several tv's in the bar area.
Legends (in the holiday inn) up by MOPAC is a GREAT sports bar!

lot's of football fans and rivalry, good fun, drink specials

I forgot about Legends. I'd recommend going there, if you're wanting something near the arboretum. They actually had really good wings when I was there last time.

Not quite the Arboreteum, but Jaspers has a nice bar and patio with beaucoups large flat panel TV's. Sort of off-putting imo, but maybe , and it seems like, it may be "your thang".

I've seen plenty of Cowboys fans in the bar area of Serrano's on a Monday night, having a good time. Their food is pretty mediocre, though.
