Duck a L'orange sides

Making a spectacular duck a l'orange on Friday for anniversary dinner.
Looking for sides suggestions.

  1. Rice pilaf, or wild rice pilaf. Haricot vert or steamed asparagus with butter.

    1. Roasted beets would add a nice touch of color.

      1. Haricot vert, steamed carrots with a little butter and an herb of your choice, potatoes Anna.

          I came across your "Duck" and like to make the following suggestion. By adding a small amount of a hot pepper paste (sambal brandal, or like, indonesian/dutch stuff), the sauce will be slightly spicey and hot, which make it fantastic (at least to me)
